Antimony potassium tartrate is a crystalline powder. It is used as mordant in the textile and leather industry. Tartar emetic (hydrated potassium antimony tartrate) has been used in medicine. It was also used as an emetic to combine with certain rodenticides to make them less harmful if they are accidentally consumed by people or pets.
